MIC Practice Course

Following the resounding success of last year's Practical Course in Marine Insurance, we are pleased to announce a new series for 2025. This comprehensive program aims to enhance your expertise in various aspects of marine insurance.
Please find the details below:
Course Schedule (In-Person Only) :
Dates: September 24th & 30th, October 9th, 14th & 21st, November 4th, 11th & 13th 2025 (8 sessions)
Time: 19:00 to 21:00 (2 hours per session)
Total Duration: 16 Hours (8 sessions)
Venue: Office of Watson, Farley & Williams LLP, Hong Kong
(Suites 4610-4619, Jardine House, 1 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong)
Course Level: Elementary to Intermediate level
Course Materials: English/Chinese
Teaching Medium: Primarily in Cantonese/Mandarin, supplement with English
Capacity: 50 persons
Course Fees:
HKD 2,000.00 for Members
HKD 2,600.00 for non-Members
*Extra HKD 300 on registration on 1 September 2025 onwards
*Course fee is not refundable.
*Pending approval from MATF as a funded course on the “pre-approved” list (maritime-related)

Kindly be advised that we are currently awaiting approval from the Maritime and Aviation Training Fund (MATF), more details will be provided upon approval. No examination is required, and participants will have valuable opportunities to network with industry practitioners.
Given that this is an in-person course, places are limited. In the event of over subscription, priority will be given to MIC members.
