NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS
Subject: Donation to Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po
Dear Members,
We are deeply saddened by the tragic fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, which has caused devastating loss of life and homes. Our hearts are with the affected families during this difficult time.
The Club will make a donation of HKD10,000 on 12 December 2025 to the Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, established by the Hong Kong Government, to assist those impacted by this tragedy.
We stand in solidarity with the community and hope that this contribution will provide some relief to those in need.
We kindly encourage all members to consider offering their own support in any way they feel appropriate. In times of such profound loss, every act of generosity - no matter how small - can bring comfort and hope to those who are suffering. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.
We also thank you for your continued support of the Club’s efforts to assist in times of hardship.

Hong Kong Maritime Week 2025 – 18 November 2025
The Marine Insurance Club, in collaboration with Watson Farley & Williams LLP, successfully
hosted a seminar on Container Fire Incidents: Claims Handling & Loss Prevention during Hong
Kong Maritime Week 2025.
Held on 18 November 2025 in hybrid format at Jardine House and online, the seminar attracted
an excellent turnout of 80+ participants — with around 50 attending in person and 35 joining
virtually.
Programme Overview
Session 1: Panel Discussion on Claims Handling
Moderated by Mr. Derek Shum, our Vice Chairman, the panel featured distinguished industry
experts:
